Frank's voice woke her up from her train of thoughts. "What do we do now?" Frank asked ,his voice full of panic . As she looked at the love of her life she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He looked so frail and scared. She remembered how she had met Frank back in the university. She had only begun dating him because he was very popular and every girl was swooning for him. She had promised herself that she would only use him to gain popularity and get invited to the cool parties but she had soon found out that Frank was not only tragically cute but he was also super charming and within a very short period of time she had fallen head over heels for him. He felt the same way too and from then they were inseparable like tick to a cow.
They were considered the it-couple of the university and they had a lot of fun together. It always seemed as if they were in their own little bubble. A perfect world where all that mattered was that they were together. It was a steamy passionate relationship between them and she had never been happier. People said that she glowed like a full moon. I guess that is what love could do to a woman.
It was in one of those parties that she met Henry who was there to sponsor the football club of the university. Frank was the best player they had and she was elated when he won a scholarship. She and Frank had a poor background in common. It drew them closer. They understood what it felt like to struggle so hard and still not be able to afford the basic needs. They also bonded with the fact the both grew up with no father figure in their lives. Frank had once vowed to her that he would one day change their lives. Elena didn't tell him but she was tired of being poor and wanted the good life at any cost.
It felt as if the universe was granting her wish when she met Henry. Poor Henry was taken by her beauty, her curvaceous body and her soft voice. Elena always knew she was drop-dead gorgeous. Her mother always told her she was enchantingly beautiful. Her aunt said it was her ticket out of the hell she was living.
Elena had flirted back and forth with Henry. She played with his heart like David in the Bible did with his harp. Henry was a man stupid in love. Elena had told him all about Frank being a possessive boyfriend with a violent streak. She had painted a picture of a poor damsel in distress and only Henry could save her. Henry was all too eager to pick up the role of her shining prince in armor ready to slay her dragons. He was like an insect trapped in her spider web of lies.
Frank had been heartbroken when she dumped him. He later found out that she was pregnant and he had calculated and realized the baby must be his .He was not going to just let another man raise his kid ,he wanted to be there for his child and he had done everything to get Elena back. Henry was so pissed when he had found out about Frank's advances and had even sent goons after him. Elena being the master of manipulation she had convinced Henry of her innocence in all this .Henry had no idea she was pregnant but she had a plan for that too. She had pulled away from Frank and it was so hard but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do
